William Paul Young

William Paul Young is an American author whose 2007 novel, The Shack, about a father whose mourning of his daughter’s death prompts a visit from God, has sold over 25 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling books of all time. It has also been turned into a movie that hit theaters in the US in March, starring Sam Worthington as Mackenzie, Young’s fictionalized version of himself, and Octavia Spencer as Papa, his representation of God.

Paul travels and speaks all over the world to audiences numbering in the tens of thousands. He continues to write books, his latest — Lies We Believe About God came out in March, 2017. His voice and story are core to The Heart of Man‘s message.
